Late carving of the pumpkin

Me and the girlfriend were a little late on carving the pumpkins this year. So today we broke out the stencils and cutting tools, sat down at our NEVER used (heh) dining room table and carved each out our pumpkins. I was inspired by a couple of gaming pumpkins I saw over on Kotaku and decided to make one as well.

My most favorite Legend of Zelda game ever made: Wind Waker! In wood cut style!

I only spent an hour or so on it. I think it turned out better than I thought it would.

The girlfriend carved out the Oogie Boogie Man from Nightmare Before Christmas.

Good times. Good times.

I really feel sorry for my girlfriend

I'm sitting here at my computer and my significant other and her cousin are sitting in the entertainment room watching V for Vendetta. All is quiet until I hear in a loud tone "Oh thats so disgusting" "That's not right". If you can guess what scene I'm referring to then good for you; otherwise I'll tell you what it is. The scene where Eve is reading the note left by the woman who was tortured for being gay. The torturing wasn't what set her off. The violence didn't phase her. Yet the moment she found out she was gay...oh that was just wrong. She probably deserved to die in her eyes.

I honestly feel sorry for my girlfriend. She's mentioned to me that her cousin just goes on and on about God and religion ever since she arrived in town. I know what its like to "lose" a friend to a cult. It changes them completely to the point where you can't even relate to your friend or relative any longer.

So sad.

I wish I could upload directly from my PSP

Vids yeah I know I couldn't do that, but at least the images I wish I could. I can blog but just not upload anything or any formatting of my text. The PSP web browser apparently doesn't support all of the features of blogger. bleh.

For not blogging in awhile I'll share my very first movie I created with my newly imported PSP camera. There was some editing software that came with it that allowed me to put that border around it. This was also the first time I uploaded a video to YouTube.

My girlfriend entered her and I into the Design-A-Wish 5K the past weekend.

This was the first organized run I ever participated in. I enjoyed the heck out of it, but boy did I feel like such an out of shape fatass compared to all those gung-ho runners who were present there as well.

The distance was approximately 3.1 miles and I completed it in 40 minutes. The best time was about 19 minutes by some teenage kid.

I was second to last in my age group of men. I wasn't expecting to do the best considering I started running again just a month earlier, being slightly overweight for my size, a former decade regular smoker turned casual smoker. I also walked the first mile with my girlfriend because she wasn't planning on jogging at all. She hates it. So I told her I wouldn't leave here behind for at least the first mile.

I am preparing myself for the next run though. I'm going to do better. I already added approximately 2 miles to my regular route bringing it up to almost five miles. I ordered a camera for my PSP and when I get it in the mail I'll test it out by snapping photos of my route. Its kinda interesting. I pass by my cities zoo, through one of our cities park and past a couple of really nice homes.

Hmm..I wasn't planning on running before work today but after typing this I kinda do now.

Well after only a year and a half of casual use, my Xbox 360 finally bit the dust. I really didn't think it would happen to me but it did.

I'm actually not that upset about it though. Probably because I wasn't really playing it at the moment and I don't have to pay for the repairs. I knew they were built faulty too and I'm glad that it happened while still under Microsofts newly extended 3 YEAR WARRANTY.

Yeah they know they built a faulty console too.

Got the coffin coming in the mail. I'm praying that they don't send me a different console in return and actually repair mine. I really don't want to go through the hassle of getting my XBOX LIVE Arcade games repurchased and validated for a different 360. I'm actually going to leave them a note attached to my console begging that they return mine repaired.

Only sucky thing though is I can't watch any of my HD-DVDs until I get it back.

Well that didn't turn out to be very interesting after all

All of my posts geared to make this RD look bad get posted and go without response. That message board is disturbing anyways. Oh well.
